Tenant Information

Office Hours

Our office is open Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am – 12:00pm.

Paying Rent

Rent can be paid at our office during the above trading hours or tenants can sign up for a ReConnect Onecard, this enables them to pay via Internet, Phone, Auto Direct Debit, BPay or Post Bill Pay. Please talk to our Rental Department for more information.

Occupancy

Only the people on the Lease and approved by the Landlord are allowed to reside at the property permanently. If a new tenant wishes to be added to a lease or replace an existing tenant, our office must be informed immediately in order for them to complete an application and have it approved by the Landlord before they move in.

Change of Phone Numbers

It is very important that tenants notify our office immediately of any change to tenants contact number.

Car Parking

Tenants must ensure that cars are not parked on nature strips or lawns at anytime.

Breaking Lease

In the event that a tenant wishes to break their lease, there are penalties involved. Tenants are required to pay rent up until the day a new approved tenant occupies the property and the tenant must also pay our agency the break of lease re-letting fee of two weeks rent. The more notice we receive the easier it is to re-let.

Giving Notice

When a tenant would like to vacate the property a minimum twenty-eight (28) days notice in writing is required at all times. If the lease is about to expire and the tenant does not wish to continue renting the property 28 days notice must be given. The tenant/s is responsible for the rent on the property until all keys are returned to our office.

Maintenance

Tenants are required to report any maintenance to our office as soon as possible, so that the repairs can be carried out promptly. Maintenance/Repairs can be reported to our office from our website direct, emailing, calling or in person at our office by filling out a Maintenance Form.
